Rosberg takes German GP pole, troubles at Ferrari continued Home hero Nico Rosberg took for pole position at the German Grand Prix, with his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton alongside him on the front row. Ferrari, with departures in the technical department and a fall down in form, they continued to struggle to keep up with the Red Bulls as Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen emerged third and fourth.
