Rosberg bounces back for home German GP pole

Nico Rosberg has taken pole position for his home German Grand Prix after bouncing back from a technical glitch to out-perform Lewis Hamilton at the Hockenheimring. Coming into qualifying as the marginal favourite having topped all three practice sessions, the closer margins from FP3 and Hamilton proving quick in Q1 and Q2 already had Rosberg under pressure at the start of the pole-deciding Q3 even before he was forced to abort his first run.
