Hockenheim FP3: practice clean sweep for Rosberg
Nico Rosberg is clearly enjoying himself on home tarmac as he topped the timing screens at the end of the third and final free practice session of the German Grand Prix weekend, after dominating proceedings on the opening day. Rosberg's best lap time of 1:15.738 was five hundredth of a second up on his chief rival and Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton in second, with Daniel Ricciardo coming to the fore in FP3 with the third best time of 1:15.837 – well within striking distance of the Silver Arrows duo at Hockenheim.
