Button goes to hospital with eye irritation

Jenson Button has gone to hospital after complaining of eye irritation during second practice for the German Grand Prix. The Briton visited the medical centre shortly after the end of the afternoon session. But McLaren has said Button has now gone to a Mannheim hospital for a check-up. Reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne is on stand-by in Germany in case Button cannot continue to drive this weekend.
