Rosberg leads Hamilton in first practice

– Nico Rosberg edged out team-mate Lewis Hamilton during Friday morning's first free practice session for the German Grand Prix, as Mercedes held a sizeable advantage over the rest of the Formula 1 field.Rosberg worked his way down to a time of 1:15.517 on the Super Soft tyre, to finish three tenths clear of championship leader Hamilton.Rosberg's pace-setting time was over a second quicker than his 2014 pole position benchmark at Hockenheim in 2014, on Formula 1's last visit.Ferrari finished as the best of the rest, albeit around a second down on Mercedes, Sebastian Vettel marginally quicker than Kimi Räikkönen.Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo were also closely matched in the...
