Wolff: Pressure is on for Mercedes to deliver at home race
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says the pressure is on for the team to secure strong result at its home race this weekend in Germany. Formula 1 returns to the Hockenheimring for the first time since 2014. Mercedes took a 1-2 finish at the last round of the 2016 season in Hungary but Wolff says its rivals will be eager to outshine the team on home soil. “To get such a result in Hungary, which is not a track that has traditionally suited us, shows how far we have progressed,” he said. “That is the most satisfying outcome and a big positive for the rest of the season.
