Haryanto set to keep Manor drive in Germany, reports say

Rio Haryanto is set to contest this weekend’s German Grand Prix for Manor after the necessary funds have been secured, per multiple reports. The 23-year-old took the final spot on the 2016 grid last winter after outbidding the likes of Alexander Rossi and Will Stevens through different initiatives from the Indonesian government and state-owned oil company Pertamina. It soon emerged that Haryanto’s seat was only secure for the first 11 races of the season, namely until last weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
