Kidnappers target Ecclestone with huge ransom demand
Kidnappers in Brazil who have snatched Bernie Ecclestone's mother-in-law are clearly targeting the well known wealth of F1's billionaire supremo as the ransom being asked for is unusually high. Aparecida Schunck was taken from her home in Sao Paolo – close to Interlagos, the venue of the Brazilian Grand Prix – on Friday night, according to news magazine Veja. Speaking to Newstalk Breakfast, Brazil-based journalist Matt Sandy gave the station an update, 'The police are investigating it but refusing to comment.
