Lewis Hamilton beats Nico Rosberg in controlled record fifth Hungarian GP victory
Lewis Hamilton secured a record fifth Hungarian Grand Prix victory, putting him one win ahead of Michael Schumacher, as he controlled the race from start to finish, having passed team-mate Nico Rosberg on the opening lap of the race. The Mercedes driver never pulled away from Rosberg by more than a handful of seconds during the race, but it was enough to ensure he remained in the lead and crossed the line first to take over the lead of the championship for the first time this season.
