Hungary GP: Practice notes - McLaren

Today was a productive one, spent fitting and evaluating new components on both sides of the garage while adapting the MP4-31 to the new asphalt laid on the Hungaroring circuit for this year. Both drivers struggled with sensitive rear-end balance in the first session as the slippery track gradually rubbered in, but by the end of FP2 they were happy with the progress made over the course of the day. The team took the opportunity to change a number of set-up components throughout today's running, and tested a new floor and front wing, among other parts. Fernando's power unit was changed between the sessions after an anomaly was found in the data at the end of FP1, but he lost little running...
