Hamilton apologises for practice crash

Mercedes AMG Petronas Reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton apologised to his Mercedes team after he crashed out of Friday's second practice session for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Hamilton led the way in the second practice session before he went off at Turn 11 and suffered a 12G side impact, though was able to recover his car to the pit lane. Hamilton was ruled out of the remainder of the session as Mercedes conducted checks on his car and ultimately slipped back to fifth place, as Nico Rosberg led the way. "Obviously, not the greatest session for me," he said. "My apologies to the crew for all the hard work they have ahead to strip the car and get it back together....
