Mercedes committed to two #1 drivers with Rosberg deal

Toto Wolff has reiterated a commitment to ensuring Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg retain equal status within the Mercedes fold following the confirmation both will stay with team until the end of 2018. Ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Mercedes announced Rosberg has put pen to paper on a two year extension for 2017 and 2018, bringing him into line with Hamilton, who is currently in the first season of his own three year contract.
