Pirelli prepared for the challenges of Hungary

Pirelli have allocated the medium, soft and supersoft tyres for the Hungarian Grand Prix, with the circuit traditionally hard on tyre degradation partly because of the high temperatures on and off track. Pirelli Motorsport Director, Paul Hembery is looking forward to the challenge of the Hungaroring after some valuable running during the recent in-season test at Silverstone: “Hungary provides a very different type of challenge to what we’ve seen at Silverstone, but some of the teams used the recent Silverstone test to try out a few ideas that could be relevant to the Hungaroring, so it will be interesting to see what effect this has.
