Sauber upgrades get green light following Longbow takeover

With the Sauber team under new ownership and its financial situation far more secure, the team have been given the go-ahead to begin introducing upgrades in an attempt to move it up the order before the end of the season. On Wednesday it was announced that the team had been taken over by Longbow Finance, a Swiss investment company, with an injection of cash securing the team's future and allowing for new parts to be manufactured and introduced. That will begin this weekend in Hungary with a new rear-wing, followed by further upgrades after the summer break.
