In photos: Hungary's first-time winners
– Formula 1 has witnessed plenty of surprises at the Hungaroring since the track joined the calendar in 1986. Four drivers, two of which are still active, claimed their maiden wins in Budapest, while four others finished on the podium for the first and in certain cases last time. GPUpdate.net takes a look through the photo archives. Damon Hill made history at the Hungaroring in 1993, winning his first Grand Prix with Williams and becoming the first son of a Formula 1 World Champion to triumph. Hill, who had retired from the lead of the previous two races, took the victory in style, finishing over a minute clear of rivals Riccardo Patrese and Gerhard Berger. In the image above, at the...
