Ferrari keen to bring Brawn back to F1
After an underwhelming first half of their 2016 season, Ferrari are looking to draw Ross Brawn back to Formula One to put them back on track. Brawn distanced himself from the sport after he stepped down as Team Principal of Mercedes at the end of the 2013 season. He has since expressed little desire to return to the sport. With this in mind, Ferrari are attempting to find a position which would utilise his ability whilst working with Brawn’s needs. A technical advisory role is the team’s ideal plan, following several meetings between Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne and Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene.
