Sauber team principal Monisha Kaltenborn believes progress regarding fresh investment for the team is helping its performances. Following years of financial difficulty, Sauber is closing in on further funding which the team hopes to confirm by the end of the European season. While Kaltenborn has been keen to keep the details of the deal private, she admits the positive news has helped the team get the most out of its package in recent races. “The team gets the same information," Kaltenborn told F1i.
