Valtteri Bottas: 'I really enjoyed being back in the car'

After finishing the 2016 British Grand Prix in fourteenth, Valtteri Bottas was happy to return to the cockpit of the FW38 for in-season testing. The Williams Martini Racing driver took over the driving duties from development driver Alex Lynn in the final day of testing at Silverstone. Completing a total of 98 laps, Bottas finished the session in sixth with a time of 1:32.423 to finish behind the McLaren-Honda of Stoffel Vandoorne. The bad weather conditions continued into the final day, with the Finn believing the rain shower in the afternoon cost the Grove-based outfit a bit of valuable track time.
