Pierre Gasly: “I’m really happy about today”

Pierre Gasly completed a strong final day of in-season testing at Silverstone for Red Bull Racing after finishing the session third, with the Red Bull Junior completing both days of the test for the Milton Keynes outfit. On the opening day he finished the session in eleventh with a time of 1:43.89, while he managed to improve on this time to finish the session on Wednesday with a time of 1:31.429 to finish behind the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS of Esteban Ocon. During the morning session, Gasly carried out aerodynamic work on the medium compound, before undertaking further evaluation work of test parts in the afternoon.
