Nikita Mazepin: “I already feel pretty comfortable”

Nikita Mazepin enjoyed his first taste of Formula 1 machinery as he participated in the opening day of the post-British Grand Prix test with the Sahara Force India team at Silverstone on Tuesday. The FIA European Formula 3 Championship racer completed 35 laps of the circuit during the day, finishing fifth fastest, with the young Russian admitting it was a big step up to run a F1 car compared to the Formula 3 car he is used to. Mazepin will get another chance to test the VJM09 on Wednesday when the test concludes, and admits he is already comfortable behind the wheel and will be looking to improve further when he gets back out on track. “It's a great feeling to be driving a Formula One...
