Charles Leclerc: “It was a really a great experience”
Charles Leclerc had limited running during the post-British Grand Prix test at Silverstone, but the Monegasque driver was delighted to get out on track in the 2016 Scuderia Ferrari for the first time. The Ferrari Driver Academy driver completed nineteen laps of the Silverstone circuit on Tuesday after a power unit issue caused an issue with the programme, but Leclerc still managed to set the fourth fastest time of the day with a 1:34.446. It rounded out a good few days for Leclerc, who had participated in his first free practice session on Friday with the Haas F1 Team, as well as claiming two podium finishes for ART Grand Prix at Silverstone in the GP3 Series. “This morning I was able to...
