Red Bull tests Halo at Silverstone test

Red Bull has run the Halo cockpit protection device on its car at the start of the Silverstone in-season test. Pierre Gasly emerged from the garage for an installation lap on Tuesday morning with the cockpit protection device on the car. Gasly completed just one lap before returning to the pits for the Halo to be removed. The Red Bull test follows Ferrari's running of the Halo during Friday practice at the British Grand Prix, with it having been fitted to Sebastian Vettel's car. Following that run, Vettel said the test was "not great" as it had "quite a bit of an impact in terms of visibility". The Halo has yet to be formally approved by the FIA,...
