Gearbox woes led to double Renault DNF

– Renault has revealed that suspected gearbox problems led to both Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer retiring their cars from Sunday's British Grand Prix.Renault struggled for pace throughout the weekend and Palmer was running last when he retired, having been delayed in the pits when he was prematurely released.Magnussen, meanwhile, retired from 16th position during the closing stages, as Renault's troublesome comeback to Formula 1 continued at Silverstone."It wasn't the result I wanted for my home race," said Palmer."Things were looking up: I got ahead of Kevin and I was catching Romain Grosjean."When I pitted for slick tyres, I had a green light to go but the...
