Esteban Gutierrez: “It was a very difficult race for us”
Esteban Gutierrez felt the British Grand Prix was hard work after struggling towards the back all afternoon at Silverstone, ending the race down in sixteenth position. The Haas F1 Team driver lost time in the first pit stop then pitted late to switch to slicks, and never had the pace in his VF-16 to challenge those ahead of him, ending up finishing sixteenth, just over ten-seconds behind the Sauber of Felipe Nasr. The Mexican driver is looking to analyse what went wrong at Silverstone so to prepare for the next event at the Hungaroring in Hungary in two weeks time, and is confident lessons can be learned from their troubled weekend. “It was a very difficult race for us today,” said...
