Sauber's Marcus Ericsson given all clear to race at Silverstone

Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson has been given the all clear to take part in the British Grand Prix on Sunday after he was involved in a high-speed crash during final practice on Saturday morning. The Swedish driver was taken to hospital in Oxford for 'routine checks' but returned to the circuit later that day, although he missed qualifying, but later declared himself 'OK'. He will be allowed to start the race from the pitlane, despite failing to set a timed lap. 'Following a medical examination undertaken this morning at the Silverstonne Circuit Medical Centre, the FIA has cleared Sauber F1 Team driver Marcus Ericsson to take part in today's British Grand Prix.'
