Ericsson given all-clear to race

Marcus Ericsson has been given the all-clear to race in today's British Grand Prix. Following his high impact crash during yesterday's practice session, having been examined at the circuit's own medical facility, Marcus Ericsson was taken to Oxford Hospital for further cautionary checks. The stewards subsequently confirmed that the Swede would need to undergo an examination by the Chief Medical Officer this morning before a final decision could be made as to his fitness to drive.
