Magnussen under investigation after Kvyat's “blocking” claim

Renault’s Kevin Magnussen has been summoned to the stewards to answer Daniil Kvyat’s claims of blocking at the end of Q2 at Silverstone. In the closing seconds of the British Grand Prix Q2 session, Kvyat’s Toro Rosso caught Magnussen’s Renault on the Hangar Straight – which eventually lapped 5s slower than the Russian. Kvyat will start 15th, with Magnussen one spot behind. “I was coming up to my best laptime of the session for sure, and he was 5s off his laptime,” claimed Kvyat. “He just stayed in front of me.
