Sebastian Vettel gets five-place grid penalty for gearbox change

Sebastian Vettel has been hit with a five-place grid penalty for the British Grand Prix after Ferrari were forced to change the unit ahead of qualifying. The German, who finished fifth quickest on Saturday morning, reported a problem over team radio at the end of final practice. Ferrari inspected the unit ahead of qualifying and have been forced to change it for a second race in a row, once again forcing Vettel to take a penalty, as he did last time out in Austria. It is Vettel's third gearbox failure of the season, having suffered the same problem in Russia.
