Ericsson taken to hospital for checks

Marcus Ericsson has been transported to hospital for 'routine check-ups' in the wake of his FP3 crash. The Sauber driver put wheels on the kerb at the exit of Stowe, which sent him flying across the track and into the inside barrier nose first. Ericsson's C35 suffered massive damage, but thankfully the driver climbed out unaided. He was immediately seen to be doctors before being taken to the track's medical centre. Sauber have now revealed that the Swede has been transported to hospital for further checks.
