Mallya Confirms Hulkenberg & Perez for 2017

Force India team principal Vijay Mallya has revealed that both Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez will remain with the team for the 2017 season. Following several weeks of speculation, both Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez have been confirmed as Force India drivers for the 2017 season, only a few hours after today's announcement from Ferrari that Kimi Raikkonen will be retained for the 2017 season. Sergio Perez, in particular, was linked with the second seat at Ferrari following impressive podium finishes in Monaco and Baku, Azerbaijan, which have seen Force India begin to challenge Williams in the constructors' championship.
