Perez was never going to leave Force India - Mallya

Force India boss Vijay Mallya insists that today's announcement that Kimi Raikkonen is to stay at Ferrari makes no difference to Force India as Sergio Perez has always had a contract with the team for 2017. Perez had been linked with Raikkonen's seat in recent weeks, but Mallya says that the Mexican was always committed to staying on alongside Nico Hulkenberg next year.
