Lewis Hamilton quickest from Nico Rosberg in first British GP practice
Lewis Hamilton topped the first practice session for the British Grand Prix on Friday morning, going marginally quicker than Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, with the pair split by just +0.033 seconds. The session started under cloudy and mild conditions in front of packed grandstands as Sebastian Vettel debuted the new Halo 2 device for a single installation lap, before removing it to begin his set-up work for the weekend. The Ferrari driver finished fourth quickest behind Nico Hulkenberg. The Force India driver once again showing strong form following his front-row start in Austria last weekend.
