Ferrari re-sign Raikkonen for 2017

Kimi Raikkonen will remain at Ferrari next season with the Scuderia announcing his new deal at Silverstone. The Finn, the last driver to win the World title with Ferrari, rejoined the Italian stable in 2014 having spent time way from Formula 1 and then with Lotus. Raikkonen's future has been the subject of much speculation of late with several drivers linked to his race-seat. Ferrari put an end to those rumours at Silverstone on Friday morning as they confirmed the driver for 2017. On Thursday, the 2007 World Champion spoke of his desire to remain in Formula 1 with Ferrari, saying he is driving as well as he ever has.
