Palmer eyes Q2, maiden points at home race

Renault Sport Renault rookie Jolyon Palmer is optimistic that he can deliver his first Formula 1 points this weekend as he prepares to tackle the British Grand Prix for the first time. Palmer secured 11th place on his debut in Australia, as well as progression to Q2, but has yet to repeat such a result since, having been eliminated from the first hurdle of qualifying across the past eight races. Having out-raced Renault team-mate Kevin Magnussen at the preceding roudn in Austria, Palmer is confident that he can edge into the top 10 at Silverstone.
