Jolyon Palmer: “I can’t wait to race in front of my home crowd”

British driver Jolyon Palmer is looking forward to experiencing his first home race as a formula one driver, when he heads out on track at Silverstone for the 2016 British Grand Prix this weekend. The Northamptonshire circuit is one Palmer knows extremely well, and is also a venue he has enjoyed success at, having secured a podium finish at Silverstone in every category he has raced prior to F1. The Brit is hoping he can add to that record in this weekend’s event, but realistically concedes that finishing in the points would be a good achievement. “I love the track and it’s always a special weekend at Silverstone.
