Ecclestone opposes Mercedes team orders

Bernie Ecclestone has sided with Lewis Hamilton, saying that it would be wrong for Mercedes to impose team orders after the controversy of the Austrian Grand Prix. Concerned over interest from fans, the F1 supremo urged Silver Arrows boss Toto Wolff to continue to let the two title contenders battle it out for the rest of the season. He also added that if Rosberg and Hamilton do end up going overboard on the track, they have the stewards there to issue any punishment if need be.
