Manor: Point shows we're a serious team
Manor Racing Manor Racing Director Dave Ryan says the squad's presence inside the top 10 at the Austrian Grand Prix proves it is a serious team, as Pascal Wehrlein scored his first point. Wehrlein qualified in 12th position at the Red Bull Ring and raced to 10th place, despite being 12 seconds adrift of the back of the pack at the restart, following a period behind the Safety Car. Wehrlein's point was the first for the rebranded Manor outfit, and only its second in history, after the ninth place achieved by the late Jules Bianchi in Monaco two years ago.
