Austria won't impact Rosberg talks

Toto Wolff has refuted suggestion that Nico Rosberg's Mercedes talks may be affected by Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix. Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton made contact on the final lap of the Austrian GP, which ended in a victory for Hamilton and a broken front wing for Rosberg. The German was held responsible for the crash with the race stewards imposing a 10-second time penalty. This is not the first time that the team-mates have clashed, although Wolff is adamant it won't affect Rosberg's on-going contract negotations. Asked if it may have an impact on the talks, he told NF1: 'No, nothing. The contract is a long-term decision and isn't influence by a race incident.'
