Mazepin to drive for Force India in Silverstone F1 test

Russian driver Nikita Mazepin will make his debut at the wheel of a Formula 1 car when he joins the Force India team for the post-British Grand Prix test at Silverstone. The 17-year-old, currently competing in the Formula 3 European championship, joined Force India as a development driver earlier this year, in what the team described as a "long-term association". Mazepin will drive both days of the Silverstone test, which kicks off on Tuesday next week. "I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to test the VJM09 at Silverstone," Mazepin said. "There's no doubt it will be the biggest moment of my career and it's something I've been working towards my whole life....
