Felipe Nasr: “This result is the maximum we could have achieved”

The Sauber F1 Team saw themselves drop to the bottom of the championship standings due to Manor Racing securing a point at the Austrian Grand Prix, with both Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson finishing outside the points again this weekend. Nasr had run as high as seventh in the race at the Red Bull Ring despite having started at the back of the grid, but fell back to thirteenth when the pit stop cycle played out, and the Brazilian felt it was the best possible result for the team in the circumstances. “Personally I am satisfied with my race, considering I started from the back of the field,” said Nasr. “In the first part especially I was running quite a lot of laps in the top ten.
