Pit lane start for Kvyat

Daniil Kvyat will start the Austrian Grand Prix from the pit lane after Toro Rosso built up a new chassis overnight. Kvyat crashed heavily in Saturday's qualifying when his suspension broke after hitting the kerbs at the Red Bull Ring. He was scheduled to start the 71-lap grand prix from 18th on the grid but will now start in the pit lane as he has a new chassis for the race. “As the survival cell of car number 26 has been changed after the end of the qualifying session, this car should now be required to start from the pit lane according to Article 23.2 of the 2016 Formula One Sporting Regulations,” read the Technical Delegate note.
