Hulkenberg cleared, keeps front row slot

Nico Hulkenberg will keep second place on the grid of the Austrian Grand Prix after being cleared of any wrongdoing during qualifying. The Force India driver was put under investigation for allegedly not having slowed down enough during the yellow-flag period triggered by Carlos Sainz's engine failure in Q2. Other drivers under investigation were Renault's Kevin Magnussen, Sauber's Felipe Nasr, Manor's Rio Haryanto and Renault's Jolyon Palmer. Hulkenberg was found to have slowed down sufficiently, however, and escaped a penalty.
