Rosberg hails Mercedes work after crash

Mercedes AMG Petronas Nico Rosberg hailed the efforts of his Mercedes squad as they repaired his damaged W07 Hybrid in time for qualifying at the Austrian Grand Prix. Rosberg crashed out of the final practice session after he suffered a suspension failure which pitched him into the barriers on the exit of Turn 2. Mercedes was able to repair the damage and get Rosberg out in Q1, from which he progressed to qualify in second place on the grid. However, his gearbox was damaged in the crash and consequently he was handed a five-place grid penalty for taking a new one, meaning he will start from seventh position.
