Fortunate Vettel shrugs off high-speed spin

Sebastian Vettel says a brake bias problem was behind a wild high-speed spin to the gravel trap towards the end of second free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix. The German ended the weather-affected session in the gravel trap at the turn two hairpin after his Ferrari snapped into a spin at high-speed on braking. Avoiding damage to his Ferrari SF16-T, Vettel – who will take a five-place grid penalty after suffering a gearbox change – ended the day fourth quickest, a result he was satisfied with given the rain and alarming conclusion. “We had an issue with the brake distribution.
