Rosberg pips Hamilton in rain-hit second practice
Nico Rosberg continued to set the pace at the Red Bull Ring as he beat Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton by 0.019 seconds in a rain-hit second practice session on Friday. Rosberg was quickest before the heavens opened after less than ten minutes of the session gone, with his time of 1:07.967 enough to lead the way despite the circuit drying in time, his time was untouchable, although Hamilton got mighty close. Nico Hülkenberg was third as the Sahara Force India team once again showed good pace, with the German outpacing Sebastian Vettel’s Ferrari by 0.009 seconds, while Daniel Ricciardo was only a further 0.060 seconds back in the leading Red Bull.
