Vettel spin caused by brake distribution; 5 place penalty for gearbox change
Austrian Grand Prix – Scuderia Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel's FP2 spin was caused by nothing more serious than a brake distribution problem, but the German driver still has a five place grid penalty to take. Vettel finished P3 in FP1, followed by P4 in FP2, but had to watch the closing minutes of the second practice session from the sidelines due to spinning off at Turn 2. Approaching the uphill tight right hander at the end of a long straight, Vettel hit the brakes to begin slowing, but lost the back end in dramatic fashion.
