Vettel hit with gearbox penalty

Austrian Grand Prix: Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has been hit with a 5-place grid penalty after Scuderia Ferrari opted to make an unscheduled gearbox change prior to the Austrian Grand Prix. The unscheduled gearbox change isn't Vettel's first this season; the German was hit with a 5-place gird penalty at the Russian Grand Prix for a gearbox change after qualifying a season best second place.
