Bite-size tech: Manor MRT05 front wing
It may not be a significant development but nonetheless Manor has replaced the previously smaller metal front flap support with a larger swan-neck one (arrow, right image). Placed between the second and third flaps on the MRT05's front wing, it will add rigidity to the front wing's structure, which is of special importance given its proximity to the inner flap adjuster. Whilst the angle of incidence of the outer sections of the flaps should be retained, both of the inner, upper flaps can be adjusted to give the driver more balance.
