Ricciardo honoured with Albert Park grandstand

Daniel Ricciardo has had a brand new grandstand named after him at the Albert Park GP circuit in Melbourne. The West Australian turns 27 today, and as part of his birthday celebrations the Australian Grand Prix Corporation has decided to name a new grandstand after him ahead of next year’s Australian Grand Prix. The ‘Ricciardo Premium Grandstand’ looks over Turns 3, 4, and 5, with tickets for it going on sale today. “What better way to honour Australian Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo on his birthday than giving him his very own grandstand,” said AGPC CEO Andrew Westacott. “It is just metres from the action with superior views of Turns 3, 4, and 5.” Ricciardo joins the...
