Button denies 'Formula Desperate' comments
Austrian Grand Prix – McLaren's Jenson Button has denied that he ever branded young drivers as ‘desperate', after a story emerged earlier this week in which the 2009 Champion appeared to pour scorn on some of his rivals. The McLaren driver apparently said of some of his younger grid members: 'I think there are many drivers that should have learned more than what they did before getting an F1 seat. They are very erratic, it's as if they are driving in Formula Desperate. They always seem desperate. That sort of behaviour should be over by the time you are in F1.'
